First Client Communication Meeting

I am our team's client communicator and so me along with the other Body Love client communicators tried to arrange to meet with Courtney and Abbey.

In our first class, our group had put together some questions we would like to ask the girls so I took these along to my meeting with Melanie, Claudia and Sophie.

Unfortunately with Courtney going away the only opportunity we were going to have to meet with both girls was this weekend and both Sophie and I were unavailable. This ended up working out ok though as in our meeting we all put together the questions we wanted to ask and Shelby (the secretary for another body love mini group) was able to attend with Melanie and Claudia.

On Tuesday the client communicator group met up again to discuss how the meeting had gone and what I took from it was that Courtney has a very set image in her head of colours, textures, ideas she likes but Abbey is more open. As we are the designers, Mel felt that we would be able to change/sway Courtney if we felt there was a better direction. The major thing that we need to do for them first is create a brand for them. They need all the basics (logo, fonts, colour palettes) and this needs to be where our project starts. How we are going to actually go about this we aren't sure so have arranged a super group meeting for Wednesday before class. The other things they touched on was that the girls don't want us to get too involved with their social media as they want to keep that voice consistent and authentic. They do however want our help with web design. They confirmed their target audience as women aged 20-35, and their style as cool, trendy and minimalist. 3 words they kept returning to in their conversations were Community, Adventure, and Possibility. They need to somehow make money however they want to be all about giving and the community. I feel like our super group discussion tomorrow will be really beneficial in finding a way to progress forward with all of this.
