Developing The Dossier

Georgia, Sam, and Sydney met on Monday afternoon to work on the dossier some more.

Sam worked out the budget using our receipts, looking on different shops websites to get the most competitive prices, and also (in the case of the laser cutting) ringing to get a quote.

Sydney rang Ink Digital (a printing place in town) and got a quote for how much printing with white ink onto three A3's for our covers would be. They said it would be $60 which is outside of our budget so we scrapped that idea. We tried printing with various shades of blue ink onto brown craft paper, but they were all too dark. We then considered screen printing with white onto the craft paper but Sydney went and talked to the technicians in Textiles and they said because our lines are so thin the screen print would flake off. We have finally decided that we will print very light grey onto our craft paper and then re-draw over the lines in white gel pen to get the look we want.
